Operations Improvement Improvement of existing systems and procedures to reflect the current reality through right-sizing, elimination of work, streamlined procedures and reducing waste in the system. Clinical Resource Management Reduction of clinical resource use through reduced length-of-stays, fewer procedures performed and appropriately placing the patient in the proper clinical modality of care. Program Strategy Radical change involving the entire organization encompassing Operations and Clinical Service Improvement, and organization restructuring, new patient care delivery systems, and additional structural components in an integrated delivery system. Focused Improvement Strategy is a long term initiative involving a comprehensive analysis, development and definition of improvement opportunities, obtaining consensus and chartering improvement initiatives in the areas of operations, program strategy and clinical resource management.
