Operations Assessment - A comprehensive diagnostic review of all areas to identify and quantify potential cost and service improvement opportunities. Focused Improvement Strategy - An organization-wide effort composed of three initiatives including the review, assessment, and benchmarking of programs, outcomes, costs and services. MEDCO's validated procedure level database of labor standards serves as the foundation to building hospital specific standards reflecting the hospital's unique characteristics.
